Stephen Felton Broderson was called Home on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Mr. Broderson worked for the railroad for many years and was a business owner in Fultondale with a church cleaning service. He served in the US Navy, and was a Vietnam Veteran. Stephen served on the USS Albany as well as the USS Pickaway
Mr. Broderson is preceded in death by his parents; Arthur R. Broderson and Jeanne M. Broderson. Survivors include his wife of 30 years; Gloria Doss Broderson, his daughter; Tracey B James, granddaughters; Taylor Ennis and Raven James, and great granddaughter; Amara Lawhorn. He also leaves behind nieces, Melanie Mann and family and Laurie Allen and family, as well as Marilyn McGeorge and a host of extended family.
Mr. Broderson will lie in state at Gardendale Mt. Vernon Methodist Church on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10-11am, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Rev. Steve Baccus officiating.
