Mr. Donald Eugene Wood

Mr. Donald Eugene Wood, age 84, of Fultondale, AL, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Don enjoyed gardening, square dancing, family, friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Wood was a Korean War veteran of both the Navy and the Army and retired as a dairy truck driver from Barber Dairy.

Don is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Joy A. Wood and two sisters; Audrey Wood and Joyce Wood. Mr. Wood is survived by one daughter; Lora Wood, one son; Scott (Kimberly) Wood, and two grandchildren; Kaila Wood and Garrett Wood, and two sisters; Phyllis Igneczi and Carol Edmonds.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to ResCare of Alabama, Shades House, 128 West Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35211

A memorial service will be held by Mr. Wood's family at a later time.
