Martha Lois "Mimi" Yates

Martha Lois "Mimi" Yates, age 88 of Gardendale, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Yates; son, Irby Yates; parents, Clarence and Martha Downs; brother, Clarence Bo Downs.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Yates; granddaughter, Laura Yates; grandson, Stephen Yates (Meleah); great-grandchildren, Tyler Yates and Carter Yates; sister, Jerene Holmes (Hilton) and several nieces and nephews.
Martha will be laid to rest beside Ted at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens in Fultondale.  There will be no visitation or funeral services per her wishes.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
