Edward Leon Casey

Edward Leon Casey, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  He is survived by two sons, Terry Casey (Sandra) and Chris (Dionne); grandchildren, Rebekah Casey and C.J. Casey; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.  Leon was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Casey; one granddaughter, Meagan Casey; his parents, Clum and Pearl Casey; and sisters, Lorene Hinkle and Norma Jean Greathouse.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.  He retired from Sears and Roebuck after 32 years of service.  Leon was a member of East Gardendale Baptist Church.  He loved Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves Baseball.  Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
