Douglas "Dwayne" Martin

Mr. Douglas “Dwayne” Martin of Fultondale, Al, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the evening of Friday, November 30th, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness, while surrounded by his loving family.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his grandparents; Richard and Stella Overton, his father; Chester Martin, stepfather; Charles Cox, and sister; Darla Brown

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of thirty-three years; Shelly Martin, one son; Justin (Ashley) Martin, and Kendra (James) Duncan, one grandson; Tyler Dwayne Martin, one brother; Adam Cox, three sisters; Sherry Knight, Gaynell Porter, and Deneas Jacquemin, and his mother; Oneas Cox as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Visitation for Mr. Martin will be at Walker Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, December 3rd, 2018 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. with funeral services held on Tuesday, December  4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
