Wayne "Hoot" Leslie

Jesus called and Wayne “Hoot” Leslie answered on Friday, January 13, 2023 at age 52 and his mind is finally at peace. Wayne was a 1990 graduate of Warrior High School.  He had a kind, loving heart.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Leslie; father, Bobby Joe Leslie; brother, Lonnie Lee Leslie; and grandparents, Rosie Leslie, Lloyd Leslie, Lonnie Watson, and Edith Watson.  He is survived by his son, Zach Leslie (Ashley), mother, Barbara McClellan (Wayne); brother, Phillip Leslie (Angie); grandchildren, Xavier Allen and Adalynn Faye Leslie; nephew, Samuel Leslie; and niece, Lacey Leslie.   A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Oasis of Hope in Trafford, AL on Sunday, January 22, 2023.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the service to begin at 4:00 p.m. Special Aunt Sandy Leslie and Bro. Robert Sharp officiating.
