Vicki Marlene Beasley

Vicki Marlene Beasley passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at age 77.  She is survived by two sons, Jason Beasley (Michelle) and Kevin Beasley; grandchildren, Jacob Beasley, Gracie Beasley, Andrew Mason and Alyssa Rumore; three great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Cook and Beth Mitchell (Mack Warfel); brother, Tommy Gillespie (Martha); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends. Vicki was born in The Dalles, Oregon on October 5, 1947.  She moved to Alabama at age nine and then back to Oregon in 1989.  After her retirement from HUD in 2011, she moved back to Gardendale, AL to be near her grandchildren whom she adored. She spent many days taking them swimming, to the movies, and other fun activities. Though she will be greatly missed, her family takes comfort in not only the memories they shared, but also in knowing that she is now and forever pain free. A visitation will be on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from  4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Walker Chapel Cemetery.  The family wishes to express appreciation to UAB Hospital CCU and Palliative Care for the exceptional care provided to Vicki and the family during her last days.
