Terry Wayne Thacker

Terry Wayne Thacker, age 68, of Trafford, Alabama, passed away peacefully. He was born on March 3, 1957, to Wayne and Barbara Thacker. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vickie Russell. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Susan Thacker, and his son, Austyn Thacker. 

Mr. Thacker was a 1975 graduate of Fultondale High School and retired from Steamers and Pipe Fitters Local 91. He had a lifelong love of motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons, and enjoyed the freedom and camaraderie that came with riding. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 24th, 2026  from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Cemetery.
