Terry Lawson Dickinson

Terry Lawson Dickinson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at age 70.  He is survived by one sister, Roxanne Handley (Gary); three nephews, Gregory Handley, Larry Handley (Renee), and Jeremy Handley (Mandy); great nieces, Mila, Neko, Tesla, and Anthem; and bonus sister, Wanda Jenkins.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Red and Odessa Dickinson; one brother, Steve Dickinson; and one nephew, Jeffrey Handley.  Terry was born with cerebral palsy but beat the odds and still lived a long life. He enjoyed being Sheriff of Magnolia Ridge Nursing Home for many years patrolling the halls and writing citations.  He also always loved watching Westerns and as a kid would say “I’m gonna die with my boots on.”  He will be missed by his family and those who cared for him.  Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.  No graveside services will be held.
