Stephen Allen Blanset

Stephen A. Blanset passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at age 64.  He is survived by four brothers, Ricky Blanset, James Blanset (Linda),  Billy Blanset (Robin), and Huey Blanset; three sisters, Gloria Dailey, Linda Montgomery  and Kay Wallace; nieces and nephews, Daniel, Nick, Maria, Isabella, Joey, Michelle, Kim, Chris, Delinda, Chad, Taylor, Kory, Rhonda, Clayton, Elizabeth, Justin, and Jacob.  Steve is preceded in death by one brother, Dewey Blanset and one sister, Brenda Furman.  He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Army National Guard after 23 years of service.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at  11:00 a.m. Steve will be laid to rest at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 1:15 p.m. with military honors.
