Stacy Lynn Handley passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at age 43. She leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Greg Handley; twin girls, Mila Dean Handley and Neko Lynn Handley; her parents, Gary and Barbara McWhorter; mother and father-in-law, Gary and Roxanne Handley; two sisters, Ramona Norris and Lisa Ewing; one brother, David Jarmon; two brothers-in-law, Larry Handley (Renee) and Jeremy Handley (Mandy); one nephew, Jarod; four nieces, Ayla, Hope, Tesla, and Anthem; and a host of other family members and friends. Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bueman & Florence McWhorter and Thomas & Earline Tedder and one nephew, Seth Ewing. Stacy worked in the Hugo Black Building downtown as a federal docket clerk for 15 years. She was a 1997 graduate of Locust Fork High School. Stacy was a happy person who always had a smile on her face. She loved life and was always the light in the room. People were drawn to her. She never met a stranger. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Dora, AL.
