Shirley Nell Haynie

Shirley Nell Haynie passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at age 71.  She is survived by four sisters and one brother, Debra Pugh (Lloyd), Sonny Guthrie (June), Beverly Downey, Diane Gaddy (David), and Jennie Cagle (Frankie) and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Haynie; two children, Renee and Jeff Haynie; and her parents, James Guthrie and Nell Foshee.  Shirley was a devoted mother to her special needs children until their passing.  She loved her family and they will miss her deeply.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
