Shirley Sue Allison Foster passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at age 77. She is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Jessie Benjamin Foster, II; three children, Billy Smith, Allison Portwood (Tim Watwood) and Jessie Benjamin Foster, III (Shelby); one granddaughter, Jessica Portwood; four great grandchildren, Sheyanne Adams, Carter Pannell, Michael Pannell, and Raydan Pannell; one brother, Benny Allison, Jr. (Denise); one sister, Tina Cunningham (Jay); three nephews, Robby Allison, Hunter Cunningham, and Johnathan Cunningham; and her granddog Sophie who she loved and treated like a little person. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Benny A. Allison, Sr. and Chressie P. Allison. She worked as a respiratory therapist for 35 years. She was an avid Alabama football fan. She loved her family more than anything. She was loved by so many people. She will be leave a void in their lives. The family will hold a private graveside service and lay Shirley to rest in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
