Sandra Louise Whitten, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1942, to the late Carl Manning and Clara Louise Manning.

Sandra was a woman of remarkable strength, compassion, and wisdom. To those who knew her, she was far more than a friend—she was a mentor, counselor, and source of comfort. Her life was marked by perseverance through adversity, yet she never allowed hardship to diminish her kindness or concern for others.

Known for her deep empathy, Sandra carried the burdens of others in her heart. She prayed for those who were suffering, offered encouragement to those who were struggling, and generously shared what little she had with those in need. Her compassion touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Sandra had a special love for animals and a profound appreciation for life. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Manning and Clara Louise Manning.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tracy Kirton, along with many friends, loved ones, and all those whose lives were enriched by her kindness and wisdom.

Sandra’s legacy of compassion, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Graveside service will be held on June 19,2026 at 2:00pm at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
