Sandra Kay Weeks

Sandra (Sandy) Smith Weeks of Morris, AL went to be with her heavenly Father on March 20, 2026 at the age of 65.

She is preceded in death by her parents Wesley A. Smith and Jacqueline B.Smith, and sister Debra S. Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Weeks whom she loved fiercely; uncle, Bob Barr (Shirley); niece, Dana Morring (Jaren); nephew, Britt Johnson; cousin, Deanna Mayfield (Andy); seven great nieces; and many precious friends.

Sandy loved the Lord with her whole heart and strived to live for Him daily. She was an active and faithful member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. The ladies in her BFF Lifegroup class were so encouraging to her and great prayer warriors. 

She had a servant’s heart and was always eager to help others in any capacity she could. She spent several years volunteering at Sav-A-Life, North Jefferson Women’s Center, Discovery Clubs, and other various ministries. 

A big “thank you” to Dr. Hurst and the purple team at Affinity Hospice for providing such excellent care. An extra special “thank you” to her nurse, Alisa, who went above and beyond to make Momma as comfortable as possible. She and nursing assistant  Jessica were the sweetest blessings during such a difficult season. 

I’ll miss my Momma forever, but what a joy to know she is completely healed.
