Russell Howard Storey

Russell Howard Storey went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at age 72.  He is survived by the love of his life for over 50 years, Sandi Storey; two children, Cari Sanders (Donnie) and Jacob Storey (Lindsay); one grandson, Gavin Sanders; and one brother, Cecil Storey (Tonia).  Russell was preceded in death by his parents, T.O & Wylodean Storey and grandson, Madden Sanders.  He retired from Monsanto/Solutia after 38 years of service.  He loved his family but Gavin was the light of his life.  He adored him and moved after retirement to be near him.  He was a member of Christway Church of God and loved his church but most of all, his Savior.  He was faithful and prior to his illness he was there to help whomever was in need.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3:30 p.m. at Christway Church of God.  Russell will be laid to rest in Friendship Community Church Cemetery.
