Roscoe Leon Harris

Roscoe Leon Harris, age 75 of Fultondale, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his father, Onnice Harris; mother, Ethel Veal; and by his brother, Marvin Harris.  He was a welder and member of Boilermakers Local 108.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn C. Harris; son, Sonny Harris (Nicole); daughter, Amanda Vanderslice (Jerry); grandchildren, Xiola, Keller, Jaxon, and Logan; brothers and sisters, Calvin, Wayne, Cleta, Sadie, Vernon and Vida; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with family receiving friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
