Robert B. Alexander

Robert B. Alexander died March 4, 2020. He was born in Birmingham, AL. Following his service in the Army/Air Force during WWII, he graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in accounting. He worked his whole career for U.S. Steel in Birmingham, and San Francisco. After retirement, he sailed his boat from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to Sarasota where he lived for the last 35 years.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey and son, Donald. He is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Lynda; daughter, Julie Alexander and her husband, Brian Gordon; and, his faithful dog, June.  A graveside service will be held at Walker Chapel Cemetery on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
