Richard Mark Horton

Richard Mark Horton passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at age 78.  He is survived by his son, Kyle Horton (Alyssa); one sister, Vicki Quick; and nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Wilma Horton.  Mark proudly served his country and was a United States Marine.  He graduated from the University of Alabama and was a lifelong Alabama fan.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
