Rebecca Diane Sprinkel

Rebecca Diane Sprinkel passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at age 69.  She is survived by one daughter Alicia Guthrie (T.J.); three grandchildren, Haylen Marie Guthrie, Dakota James Guthrie, and Bryce Liam Guthrie; one brother, Tommy Burrough (Diane); nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.  She also left behind her dogs who were her “babies”, Sam and Fiction.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Beachie & Mildred Burrough and one sister, Carolyn Davis.  Diane retired from Birmingham Race Course after many years of service.  She was a member of the Cherokee Nation and was very proud of her Native American heritage.  She loved Auburn football, Jesus and the beach.  She also loved her family dearly and they will miss her so much!  The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
