Nellie Jo (Barr) Huett

Nellie Jo Huett, born June 20, 1932, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2025 at age 92.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tommy Huett, Sr.; her parents, George & Faith McDuff Barr; great grandson, Gavin Rogers; and two brothers, Gene Barr and Robert Barr;  and one sister, Louise Crider.  She was blessed with four children, Barbara Hall, Anita Rogers (Allen), Robin Lewis (Ken) and Tommy Huett, Jr.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Melba Barr and Naomi Barr; and several nieces and nephews.  Nellie attended Evangel Assembly in Mount Olive for many years.  Visitation will be on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. Robert Sparkman officiating.  Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
