Nancy Rovi Obituary

Nancy Ann Newcomb Rovi passed away November 30, 2023. She was born October 18, 1948, in Ft Wayne, Indiana. As a child she moved to Birmingham, Alabama and resided there for the rest of her life. She was a devout member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she participated in many of the organizations over the years such as the Ladies Alter Sodality, the Outreach Ministry, Crafty Ladies, and the Bereavement Committee. She spent most of her time enjoying her children and her grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Johnnie; child Charles; her parents Charles and Marian Newcomb;  and her siblings Charlene Treadaway, Jerry Newcomb, and Tina Leslie. She is survived by her children Greg Rovi, Pam McMurry, Michael Rovi (Belinda), Ann Waters (Chad) and Mary O'Laire (Matt); grandchildren: Josh Woods (Patricia), Lauren Rovi (Bailey), Evan Waters (Raven), Allie Rovi, Amanda Woods, Abbie Waters, Noah Rovi, Hannah O'Laire, Emma Rovi, Will O'Laire, Luke Waters, and Mia O'Laire; and her great-grandchildren: Charlee, Atticus, and Cameron. She is also survived by her brother Terry Newcomb (Sherry) and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends can pay their respects by attending her Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by the Rosary. Burial will be at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
