Mr. James Willard Leahey

Mr. James Leahey, age 56, of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019.

James is preceded in death by his parents; Don and Dot Leahey and is survived by his wife of thirty-five years; Alda Leahey, one son; William Leahey (Ashlee), one daughter; Dayna Leahey and her fiance, Thomas Hood, three grand children; Emberlyn, Weston, Jace, Mae, and Saylor, two sisters; Michelle Leahey, and Stacy Butler (Chris),and special aunt and nephew; Jean Smith and Jason Bevis, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. James was a proud member of the American Legion post 255 and will be fondly remembered by his family as a great provider who loved his family dearly. Always smiling, James never met a stranger. He loved trucking, music, collecting guitars, and spoiling his grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Daystar Church in Mt. Olive with Pastor Randy Hayes officiating.
