Mary Jean Whaley, age 89 of Vinemont, passed away on Friday April 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Lela Mae Parker; children, Dianne Dunaway, Teresa Ratliff, and Ricky James Vinson; sister, Louise Tubbs.
Jean is survived by her sister, Wynell Hesterly; son-in-laws, Rodney Dunaway and Bobby Ratliff, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in groups of 10 on Tuesday April 14, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Private graveside services will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
