Mary Louise (Sazera) Hughes

Mary Sazera Hughes went to be with the Lord and is now reunited with all those that she missed so dearly.  She passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at age 71. She is survived by her children, Shannon Parker and Toni Owens (Amber); grandchildren, Austin Green, Courtney Parker, Reece Parker and Brittany Godwin; one brother, Anthony Sazera; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Betty Sazera; one sister, Jacky Stancil; and one brother, Butch Deneke.  Mary was the funniest person and made her family laugh often.  They loved to pick at her and see if they could get a rise out of her just to see her reaction.  She also enjoyed playing games of all kinds.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  A service to celebrate the life of Mary will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
