Mary Ann Guthrie

Mary Ann Guthrie, age 67, passed away on Saturday October 26, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Cecilia Mays and by her husband, Larry E. Guthrie.  She was a 1970 graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School and a 1974 graduate of the University of Montevallo with a degree in psychology.  She worked in customer service for AT&T for 38 years.

Mrs. Guthrie is survived by her brother-in-law, Michael Guthrie; sister-in-law, Patricia Guthrie Boger (Joe); numerous nieces and nephews; special friends who often visited and showed love and support, Gail Owens, Theresa Love Wine, Judy Johnson Jones, Marilyn Myrick Drake, Bobbie Graham Altman, Rennae Bragen, Debra and Kenny Belcher, Mary Ann Allen, and Joan Jacks.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Guy Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
