Martha Denise (McDonald) Rutledge

Denise Rutledge passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at age 57.  She is survived by her husband, Joe Rutledge; three children, Daniel McDonald (Kala), Laura Bradford (Adam), and Gary Vaughn; stepson, Billy Rutledge; stepdaughters, Angelia Nall and Kendra Starns; grandchildren, Noah, Maci, Carter, Serenity, Rose, and Alex; father, Gary McDonald; brother, Michael McDonald (Jessica); nephew, Andrew; and other extended family and friends.  Denise is preceded in death by her mother, Martha McDonald.  Denise was a very giving person and always had an open door.  She loved cooking for everyone and she never met a stranger.  She also loved arts and crafts especially crochet.  Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Guy Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
