Martha Vaughn Myrex

Martha Vaughn Myrex went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at age 79. She is survived by one son, Keith (Stacie) Myrex; six grandchildren, Kristen Myrex, Tony Myrex, Shelbie (Matt) Pittman, Cassadie Myrex, Kaleigh Myrex, and Keeton Myrex; eight great grandchildren, Braxton Heller, Chloe Heller, Kynzlie Myrex, Braelie Pittman, Adleigh Pittman,  Ryleigh Estes, Cambrie Estes, and Baylor Pittman; and other extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward Ray Myrex; her son, Kenneth Myrex; her parents; her sister, Rebecca Gowins, and two brothers, Harold Vaughn and Don Vaughn. She owned and operated Mawmaw’s Daycare in Mt. Olive for almost 40 years and was beloved by numerous children through the years.  She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
