Lora Dismukes Forman

Lora Dismukes Forman passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at age 78.  She is survived by one daughter, Leann Forman (Larry Jackson) and other extended family and friends.  She retired from UAB/Kirkland Clinic after 48 years of service as a laboratory technician.  She is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  Lora enjoyed sewing, crafting, and cooking.  Before her health failed, she catered weddings and did the floral arrangements.  When she was young she was a professionally coached singer and participated in dramas.  Her daughter adored her and she was her best friend.  She will miss her every day for the rest of her life.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale.  A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by placement of the urn in a niche in the columbarium at the church.
