Linda Rae (Nunn) Booth

Linda Rae Nunn Booth passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at age 80.  She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Booth (Mary) and Anthony Booth; two grandchildren, Morgan Hollis (Matthew) and Trenton Booth (Stacie); great grandchildren, Jonah Booth, Lily Hollis, Allie Kate Booth, MacKenzie Hollis, Riley Hollis, Amelia Booth, MacKenzie Hurst, and Lilli Cotton; and two nieces, cousins, other extended family and friends.  Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Earl Booth; her son, Terry Wayne Booth; parents, L.A. Nunn and Elois Martin; and one sister, Cheryl Jones.  She retired from Gardendale Elementary School Lunchroom but spent most of her time for many years providing loving care to her son, Terry who suffered a stroke at age 19.  She exemplified strength and kindness.  Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who was also a prayer warrior.  She was a member of East Gardendale Baptist Church.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Rick O’Brien officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
