Larry Earl Guthrie, age 65, of Gardendale, AL passed away February 24, 2018 at UAB Hospital. Mr. Guthrie was preceded in death by his parents, John Barney Guthrie and Dorothy Irene Wilson Guthrie, father-in-law, James T. Mayes and mother-in-law, Celia Johnson Mayes. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Guthrie; sister, Patricia Ann Boger (Joe); brother, Michael Guthrie and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1PM-2PM at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
