Kirby Tucker

A Celebration of Life for Kirby Tucker, age 75, of Pinson, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Walker Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  

Mr. Tucker passed away on September 18, 2025. 

Survivors include his wife, Linda Tucker; daughter, Jennifer Tucker; sons, Joel Tucker and Jason Tucker (Brittnie); and grandchildren, Hannah, Rhys, Caleb, Jake, Mattie, Adaline, Hadley, and Jaxon. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Louise Tucker; and brother, Lamar Tucker. 

Kirby graduated from Fairfield High School. Afterwards, he served our country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and has remained close to his fellow brothers in arms. He later made a successful career in sales in the chemical manufacturing industry. Kirby will be remembered for being a practical jokester who enjoyed making people laugh, while getting a chuckle himself from pranks he might pull on his loved ones. He was a caring man who looked after his neighbors by keeping their yards cut (which he was best at) or lending a helping hand anytime he saw a need. He enjoyed NASCAR, Alabama football, and, of course, cutting grass. He was a food connoisseur who enjoyed trying new restaurants. He valued spending time with his friends and family, and, most of all, he dearly loved his grandkids. He will be deeply missed.
