Kimberlyn Lynn Matthews

Kimberlyn Lynn Matthews, of Gardendale, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith Matthews. Kimberlyn is survived by her son, Jason Haynes (Cammie); two grandchildren, Jacob Haynes and Madilyn Haynes; one cousin, Robin Mize; one brother, Larry Roper; and one sister, Teri Woodruff. Kimberlyn graduated from Wallace State School of Nursing in 1995 and spent much of her time providing loving care to others. Her family will miss her deeply. A Celebration of Life will be held at Walker Chapel Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Columbiana Health and Rehab for the loving care they provided.
