Kathy Ann Brewis

Kathy Ann Brewis, age 52, of Remlap, Alabama, was born on May 4, 1973, and passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born to Malcolm and Margerite Brewis and lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and a genuine love for others.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm Brewis; her grandparents, Lou and Alex Brewis, Kathleen and Earl Rochester; and her uncle, Dennis Rochester.

She is survived by her loving mother, Margerite Brewis; her brothers, Scott (Megan) Brewis and Timothy (Kristel) Brewis; her sister, Kristina Brewis; her cherished nieces and nephews, Shelby, Dylan, Tessa, Violet, and James Brewis; her aunt, Bobbie McKinney, and several cousins. 

Kathy loved music and enjoyed spending time watching television, often with her beloved cat, Sammy, by her side. She was quiet and intelligent, known for her warm smile and joyful laugh. Kathy had a servant’s heart and truly loved people, always willing to help whenever she could. She was especially devoted to caring for and supporting her sister Kristina, whom she loved dearly.

Her gentle spirit, compassion, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at Walker Chapel Funeral Home, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Kathy Ann Brewis will be remembered for her loving heart, quiet grace, and the light she brought into the lives of her family and friends.
