Julia Deana Ellard passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Barry Ellard; one son, Barry Ellard, Jr; two daughters, Mandy Ellard and Emily Rose Ellard; three granddaughters, Alanah “Bird” Hodge, Quinn “Doodle” Hodge and Averie “Ave Jane” Hodge; her father and stepmother, David and Connie Stidham; one brother, Dave Stidham (Debbie); special family friends whom Deana considered daughters, Jackie and Wendy; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Deana was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Stidham and her brother, Daniel Stidham. One of Deana’s greatest joys in life was keeping her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Mimi”. She also enjoyed her other family, Facebook and was always concerned about others no matter how much time or distance separated them. Halloween was her favorite holiday and she took great pleasure in dressing up as the witch of Windsor Park every year. She will be greatly missed and her family will treasure these memories forever. Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
