John Daniel Pierce was born on July 18, 1992, in Mobile, Alabama, living in Fairhope, Alabama until young adulthood. John was a bubbly, bouncing, baby boy, who grew into a kind and sensitive yet mischievous teenager. He had a fun-loving sense of humor and a quick, infectious smile. His deep belief in God was nurtured at Fairhope United Methodist Church. After attending high school in Fairhope, he underwent intensive training to become a welder. Moving to North Dakota for a short few years, he began to master his trade. He returned home to Alabama and worked as a pipeline welder and became certified in all alloys. He married the love of his life on April 25, 2020, Lindsey Jane White, when they blended her two beautiful daughters, Finleigh and Paisley, and his son Hunter. Together they welcomed a daughter, Adley Jane, and son, John Henry. He became a successful business owner as a welder working long hours to provide for his family. On June 29, 2026, John unexpectedly met his maker at his home in Jasper, Alabama.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Atkins Pierce, and uncles Steve and Tim Atkins.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsey Jane Pierce; children, Hunter Williams of Robertsdale, Alabama; daughters, Paisley and Finleigh James, Adley Pierce, and son, Henry Pierce all of Jasper, Alabama; brother Stephen Pierce and wife Katelyn of Vancleave, Mississippi; sister, Katie Hagood and her husband Cole Hagood of Jasper, Alabama; father, David and wife Julie of Fairhope, Alabama; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, loved ones and friends.
