Joe Mark Rooker

Mark Rooker passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at age 61.  He is survived by three daughters, Katie Shelton (Shawn Caudill), Kaci Rooker, and Kari Bickerstaff (Will); five grandchildren, Shannon, Hunter, Jade, Arya, and Emma; father, Frank Rooker (Glenda); mother, Sue Rooker (Hershel Yates); one brother, David Rooker (Cindy); and nieces, nephews and other extended family.  Mark was preceded in death by his significant other, Beth Isbell.  Mark was a 1978 graduate of Tarrant High School.  He worked as a nuclear pharmacist for many years after graduating Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy.  He received his Nuclear Pharmacy Certification from Purdue University.  Mark was an avid Braves baseball fan and loved celebrating their World Series Championship.  He also loved Alabama football.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest by Beth.
