Jo Ann "MeMe" Hogeland

Jo Ann “MeMe” Hogeland, age 85 of Gardendale, passed away on Tuesday May 12, 2020.  She attended Corner Stone Church in Mt. Olive and worked at John’s Photo for 19 years.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Phillips.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon Hogeland; daughter, Terri Greene (Bobby); granddaughter, Savannah Greene; numerous brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
