Janite Ingram, a woman known for her big heart, quick wit, and unforgettable spirit, passed away on March 20, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Lamar Eason, and her sister, Kathy Eason.
She leaves behind a family who will miss her dearly, including her mother, Nettie Sue Eason; her loving husband, Larry Wayne Ingram; her children, Jackson Ingram (Jennifer), April Ingram, and Floyd Ingram (Megan); and her precious grandchildren, Jeffery Bailey, Abigaile Bailey, Ryan Ingram, Emma Ingram, Levi Ingram, and Ruby Jo Ingram. She is also survived by her siblings, Debra Allred (Jeff), Gerry Eason (Michele), and Angela James (Roy); her brother-in-law, Paul Ingram; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members whom she loved dearly.
Janite was truly one of a kind—full of life, full of laughter, and never one to meet a stranger. She spent many years waitressing, where she didn’t just serve meals—she made friends that lasted a lifetime. If you ever sat at her table, you likely left with a full heart and a smile on your face.
She had a special way of loving people, the kind that made everyone feel like family. Her greatest joy in life was being “MawMaw,” and she wore that title with pride. Her home, like her heart, was always open—because to Janite, there was always room for one more at the table.
Her memory will live on in the stories, the laughter, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
