Helen Jane Dixon

Helen “Jane” Dixon of Fultondale, Alabama went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2023, at the age
of 84. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a dedicated employee of
Carraway Hospital for 30 years. Jane was a nurturer, always taking care of everyone else before taking
care of herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Gordon Dixon, and great-grandchild Hazel Hadley.
She is survived by her three children, Ruby, Jerry, and Charles; seven grandchildren, Ruby Diane, Ashley
(Ty), Karmen (Matt), Kristen (Zach), Amanda, Matthew (Alicia), and Alaina (William); fifteen great-
grandchildren, Ava, Kane, Bailey, Jonah, Amelia, Jordan, Hew, Hollyn, Bryson, Logan, Niko, Henry, Oliver,
Zaidyn, and Banks; and special “daughter” Marie.
Visitation will take place at Walker Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12:30 p.m.
followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
