Gordon L. Goodwin, Sr.

Gordon L. Goodwin, Sr., “Horsey” passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at age 85 surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Helen Goodwin; his children, Debbie Goodwin, Kathy Englebert (Carl), and Lee Goodwin, Jr.;  grandchildren, Brandy Crossfield (Leigh), Kim Moore, Cheryl Moore (Michele),  Jamie Houston (Jennifer), and Deanna Overby; and great grandchildren, Jade Smith, Brody Overby, Marianne Robertson, Grayson Crossfield, and Connor Houston. Gordon proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Hewitt Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.  He was an avid coon hunter.  He was a good provider for his family.  He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be missed terribly. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
