Gloria F.H. Nicholas

Gloria F.H. Nicholas, age 80 of Pinson, passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Richard "Nick" Nicholas and by a son, Frankie Woods.  She retired from the banking industry after many years of service.  She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson.  

Gloria is survived by her children, Rebecca "Becky" Cobb (Robert) and Ricky Nicholas; granddaughters, Natasha Abney (John) and Brandie Leberte (Eric); great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Maleah, Shawn and Kali; sister, Carol Corbett (Jim) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. David Moerbe officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday.  She will be laid to rest at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
