Gavin graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School in 2017 and joined the Army. Upon return, he attended Bevill State Community College and began a career as a talented welder. Gavin had a passion for wrestling and loved his team and his coaches. Win or lose, Gavin gave everything he had on the mat and loved having his dad by his side. He always told him "if you want to be the man son, then you have to be the man." He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and football with his brothers and friends, and spending time with his family and his son. Gavin was a great friend and enjoyed every second with his buddies. He loved going to truck shows and bon fires. He had a contagious smile and sense of humor that would make anyone smile back, even when he was in trouble. One of Gavin's favorite things was to tell stories. He poured detail and emotion into everything to make you feel like you were there with him all along. He was the most loving guy with great intentions. Gavin you will be missed, we all love you and will always love you we promise we will take care of your son.
Every time the boys open the refrigerator at our house they read a saying their Mom wrote on a grease board that stays on the door of every fridge we have owned. It says "IF YOU ARE EVER UNSURE IN LIFE, ALWAYS BE SURE THAT WE LOVE YOU." There will always be a missing piece to our family until we meet again and we WILL meet again. We Love you!
