Faye P. (Parnell) Cox

Faye P. Cox passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at age 93.  She is survived by two sons, Danny Cox (Jane) and Gary Cox; eight grandchildren, Craig, Kayla, Casey, Amy, Wade, Chris, Chad, and Alan; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one brother, Nathan Parnell; one sister-in-law, Penny Parnell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Cox; granddaughter, Holly Cox; parents, Talmadge and Essie Parnell; and two brothers, Neal Parnell and Glenn Parnell.  Faye retired from Children’s Medical Group after 43 years of service.  She was a member of Walker Chapel Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
