Faye Elaine Blevins

Faye Elaine Gamel Blevins, age 78 of Clearwater Florida and formally of Coalburg, passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Margaret Gamel and by a brother, Dale Gamel.  She was a resident of Coalburg but spent the last 8 years living in Clearwater Florida.  She worked as a caregiver and was a member of New Hope Ministries.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Blevins (Katie), James Blevins, and Kita Blevins McCarty (Randy); grandchildren, Jared McCarty and Lea Blevins; host of children that called her Nana; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. John Curtain officiating.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday June 20, 2020 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale
