Erica Dean Phillips Calderon

Erica Dean Phillips Calderon passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at age 33.  She is survived by three children, Jade Marie Phillips, Claudia Calderon and Teresa Calderon; mother and stepfather, Cara and James Bowling; sisters, Michelle Lee Denton Cook and Carella Phillips; brother, Leland Bowling; stepbrother, James Nicholas Bowling; nieces and nephews, MaryJane Cook, Devan Cook, Malacki Walker, Naomi White,  Aliana White, and Michael Carranza; grandfather, Donald Phillips; and aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.  Erica was preceded in death by her father, Eric Phillips; grandparents, Floyd Dean & Claudia Jackson and Betty Phillips; and uncle, Tim Jackson.  She had a bright, loving and giving spirit.  She was a hard worker and had a deep appreciation of art.  Erica had no idea how beautiful nor how deeply loved she was.  She will be missed by those who loved her.  Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Church of Birmingham, 5050 Pinson Valley Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35215 with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
