Dorothy Mae Bowen

Dorothy Mae Bowen, age 84, passed away on Monday November 4, 2019 in Robertsdale Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Oliver Buck Bowen; and by a son, Bobby Ray Bowen.

She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Bowen (Ginger); grandchildren, Bobbie Lynne Bowen, Rebecca Leigh Bowen Payne, Shawna Michelle Bowen Hitt (Gregory) and Matthew Aaron Bowen (Jessie); step-grandchildren, Melissa Hall, Melody Bates, Michael Cargal and Melinda Cargal; 4 great-grandchildren; and by a daughter-in-law, Helen Bowen.  She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday November 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Walker Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Long officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Walker Chapel Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Walker Chapel Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 205-849-5000, Fultondale.
