Donald Albert Nichols

Donald Albert Nichols passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at age 81.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Dale Wilson Nichols; unnamed infant children; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Brand Nichols Acton (Ervin R.); his father, Benjamin Pierce Nichols; and his sisters, Linda Fay Nichols Mays (Roger), Donna Marie Acton Young (William). He is survived by: his son, Albert Joe Nichols (Tonya); daughters, Betty Jane Nichols Wright, Dana Nichols Adams, Jacqueline Elizabeth Nichols, and Sharlet Nichols Giese (Richard); brothers: Paul Roy Nichols (Pearl), Charles Robert Nichols (Martha), Richard R-dean "Ricky" Acton (Beverly), Ervin P. "Billy" Acton (Brenda), Ray Joe Nichols (Reba K.); sisters: Reba Carol Nichols Holcomb (Jerome), Bonnie Gay Nichols Register and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other extended family.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Hayden, AL with the funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
