Dianne Chambers Knight

Dianne C. Knight went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at age 75.  She is survived by her loving husband of almost 55 years, Kenneth H. Knight; three sons, Kevin Knight (Lynda), Keith Knight (Amy), and Kristopher Knight; grandchildren, Krissy Freeman, Lucas Knight (Kali), Chelsea Castleberry (Blake), Sabrina Knight, Tag Shaw, Lizzie Shaw, and Carrson Knight; two great grandchildren, Parker and Hudson Castleberry (who will miss their “Honey” dearly), and a great granddaughter expected in September; one sister, Kaye Williams; one brother, Wayne Chambers (Lisa); and a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Chambers.  She was a member of North Gardendale Church of Christ and devoted most of her career to the children of Fultondale Elementary in the lunchroom. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
