Deanna Carson Nilsen

Deanna Carson Nilsen passed away on May 7, 2022 at age 53.  She is survived by her husband, Gregory Nilsen; one son, Nicholas Nilsen; mother, Wendy Tubbs Nilsen; two sisters, Denise Hannah (Lukas) and Donna Carson (Justin Lee); brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrea Limehouse (Al), Jan Goldman, Barry Milam (Aming), Scott Nilsen (Julie) and Tim Nilsen; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.  Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Carson; brother, Daryl Gene Carson; stepfather, Thomas A. Nilsen; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Wallace & Joy Nilsen.  Deanna was a 1987 graduate of Fultondale High School and attended Jefferson State Community College.  She was a beloved wife, mother and daughter.  She loved her family.  She was a precious, caring person and her family will miss her everyday.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until  7:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens.
